Money Gift DIY: Christmas Gift 2.0

 

For Christmas this year, I found another great money gifting idea.

I got these plastic jars from Dollar Tree.

I used tissue roll in the middle to store the money.

I used Christmas themed M&Ms but you can use any chocolate/candy you like.

I top it with bows I also got from DT.

The minimalistic in me decided to just write a short message using white paint marker.

But I think Christmas doodles will be nice idea too.

Wreath DIY: Winter

This is my third DIYed wreath.

I want something for after Christmas/before spring kind of thing.

I found these cotton mix bushes will be perfect.

I prefer a darker color willow wreath, but DT only have this natural one.

Materials:

Here's another DIY onesie we made for the new member of Austria crew.

I had the cousins trace the dotted word.

Statement Onesie & Shirt DIY: Sisters

Another great gift ideas for older sisters to new baby sister.

I had the "Ate 1" (oldest sister) to trace the dotted words

and "Ate 2" to do the stamping.

This is my DIY gift for the sisterhood in "Filipino" version.

Back to School DIY: Kid Edition

We invited the cousins over for a playschool date just when the school started.

We did a back-to school craft. scavenger hunt around the block.

We did water and sand play.

We did backyard camping and picnic too!

We finished the day with a back-to-school goodie bag for each one of them.

I DIY'd this pencil box with their name on it using Cricut.

Inside the bag are some basic school supplies like

Permanent Marker, Scissors, Glue Sticks, Sharpener, Pencils,

Erasers, Colored Pencil, Crayons

Construction Papers and Art Pad

For the younger ones, we included some activity books.

Wedding Anniversary Picnic Table

To celebrate our wedding anniversary this year,

we had a picnic dinner in our backyard.

Our food was from the Max's Restaurant (where we had our first official date).

Here's the simple set-up we had for our  picnic table.

The picnic table was DIYd by hubby.

The red checkered table cover is from DT.

Mason jars and flowers from our garden for table centerpiece.

Disposable plates and cutleries from T's dedication.

 

Father's Day DIY: Best Dad Ever Shirt and Shirt Card

This year's father's day gift was a DIYd shirt.

T choose the design and I do the rest (LOL!)

I thought this design is perfect for a dad who plays the guitar.

For grandpa, uncles and godfather, we DIYd this chocolate bar pockets.

T crafted the ties and I do the rest (LOL!)

Love how it turned out.

Graduation DIY

Little one made these cards for his Kuya C and Ate M’s kindergarten graduation.

We used construction paper, stamp and twines.

I cut the pieces and let the LO paste them on the cardstock.

He also traced the numbers and do the stamping.

Mother's Day DIY: Rose Card

The little boy and I made this for mother’s day this year.

We used foam sheets (instead of TP roll), sponge,

washable paint (a must when working with little ones) and newspaper.

Very easy and kids would love to do.

Happy with the finish product.

For the Roas

This is a the first towel cake I made in collaboration with my GF. I think this a very practical gift and perfect for bridal shower and even house warming gift. It took us few tries to get the right combinations to make a 3-tier cake. We finished with 1XL + 1L for the base, 1XL for the middle and 1L for the top. We used the washcloths to make the topper.

Ingredients:

2 Extra Large bath towels

2 Large bath towels

2 Hand towels

4 Washcloths

Any kind of decorative ribbon or twine

Easter DIY: Egg Hunting, Loot Bag and Easter Card

We celebrated Easter a bit different this year.

With the stay-at-home order our church send us materials for resurrection egg hunting.

I used this egg mallows carton I got from Menards to store all of them.

I did a little twick with the resurrection related stuff inside.

I used this free printables from Life Your Way.

This year the loot bag for the LO's cousins were simple.

I got this pastel plaid baggies from DT.

And T seal them with some spring stickers in his stash.

Inside the bags are Easter Bunny color-it-yourself puzzle, Animal Squishies, Big Plastic Egg with candies inside and Mini Kit-kat.

For T, I re-used this Giant Plastic Egg with couple of toys inside.

With all that's happening around the world, we thought sending some love via Easter Cards.

We found Staples have the best deal for printing greeting cards.

Money Gift DIY: Birthday Gift

This money gifting idea is very timely.

There was TP shortage few weeks before hubby's birthday.

It's very easy to assemble.

We used an empty TP box, cardstock, washi tape, marker and money bills (as much as you want).

I used washi tape to connect the bills together and to decorate the box as well.

I use a bill sized cardstock to write the "how-to-instructions"

I think the best part, hubby is very happy :D
