The Adventures of Tin-tin

I was so happy when she told me she's celebrating her birthday here in Chicago. She and her hubby enjoyed 2-1/2 days touring around the city. They've tried Chicago public transpo from train, bus and water taxi. They've visited some major tourist spots like Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Millenium Park, Willis Tower, Water Tower, John Hancock and Navy Pier. She didn't mind walking Magnificent Mile to shop. They've tried some of Chicago's best like Giordano's stuffed pizza, Joy Yee's smoothies, Portillo's Italian Beef and Garette Popcorn. I think even "Baby Juguilon" had a great time in Chicago.

I wish we had more time. I miss our days in the Philippines just talking about anything under the sun. See you again Tin-tin.

When Gail meets Gay

Leinor a.k.a. Gay is a classmate in college. The last time we met was about 5 or more years ago. I thank God to have her not only as a classmate, a friend but a sister in Christ as well.

When everything was set for our trip to Vegas, I promised myself to meet her. It was an awesome time catching up, meeting her loving husband Robert and enjoying a dinner treat at Jollibee...grabeh super namiss ko ang chickenjoy.

How excited and overwhelmed I was? I realized I left my purse after leaving the parking lot... tsk tsk tsk. Nasobrahan . See you both in Chicago!

Origami Bouquet

Few days after Heart's day, I'm in deep thought of what to give my Ate Donna. It's hard to think of something to give a woman who happens to have most of everything. I know Paul will give her the most beautiful flowers but I know this one will be unique. With some colored papers, pencils, flower vase, little knowledge of the Japanese art and love for the birthday celebrator
...  presenting my Origami Bouquet.
