Wedding Anniversary Picnic Table

To celebrate our wedding anniversary this year,

we had a picnic dinner in our backyard.

Our food was from the Max's Restaurant (where we had our first official date).

Here's the simple set-up we had for our  picnic table.

The picnic table was DIYd by hubby.

Today is one of the scariest, saddest and most painful day we went through. We had no chance to have a glimpse of you again. We never had the chance to hear your heartbeat. Our lives will forever change. In spite everything, thank God for this short but memorable time we had as a family... Mama, Papa, and you. Papa and Mama loves you Anak. We miss you already.

Random Sweetness

Hubby may not be the most romantic guy in the world but sometimes his random sweetness makes me "kilig to the bones". Roses are blooming by our neighbors backyard and some of them are peeking out by our fence. He came rushing into the house, opened one of his "shrek" hands and there this little bud showed up. So sweet!

Heart's Week

I'm blessed to celebrate this occasion with my special someone not only for a day. It was a week full of love, love, love!

Day 1: I received flowers from hubby then we watched live Bulls Game at United Center.

Day 2-5: We went for a 4D3N trip to Nevada/Arizona.

Day 6: Special day with God.

Day 7: Hubby sent flowers to my workplace.

Tanging Dreamboy Ko

I always dream of having someone I could "jam" with. I always imagine me singing and the love of my life playing the guitar. So blessed with hubby... di lang dahil love niya ako pero dahil siya "ang tanging dreamboy ko".

few pics, hugs, kisses and goodbyes. on a rush, they got to beat the "color coding" thing. it's really good that honey was able to check-in online or else we got to join those long lines of passengers. after all necessary immigration processes, payments and morning coffee

july 9 1:30pm (JAP) first stop Narita, Japan
no chance to savour the beauty of "the land of the rising sun" got to go in an hour
july 9 2:30pm up again in the air for not soooooooooooo long
12 hours sleeping eating sleeping eating stretching
july 9 1:00pm (CST) first US stop Detroit, Michigan
held a little in the immigration... missing our next flight. it's like that for newbies.
july 9 3:00pm up in the air for an hour and half more
july 9 4:40pm "Chicago here we come!"
few more mins with red chocolate and friends ends our memorable 24-hour journey

Our First Valentines

To prevent myself from disappointment, i tried not to expect something this valentine's day. I accepted the fact that were miles apart... NO FLOWERS for sure. February 13, i arrived home so tired after a whole day bonding with my girlfriends. i saw a big brown box from LBC. My name printed on the sticker... "KILIG". My early valentine present, bouquet of red roses and chocolates. I just want to say thanks to the man who chose to love me only next to GOD... I love you so much.

How it all started?

13 years ago, a guy from school gave me this valentine's card. what's so shocking  is he gave it in front of students from "small" and "medium" buses. who would ever think, this "crush ng bayan" would give attention to a super "sungit-petite-nobody" girl like me. then another card before i left school after graduation. and that's how it all started. it's not a happy ending until 13 years passed. thank GOD we meet again.

Abigail For Her Roy

She asked me a picture of me during grade school days... then she replied and shared something to me

"Naaalala ko during TMCS days  laging kasama sa school activities si Abigail,(hindi ko matandaan ang last name) super cutie,bagay kay Roy(siempre anak ko no,pogi,noon yata yon!) pero sabi ko lang sa sarili ko, hindi classmate ni roy, its either one grade up or down, walang chance na mag meet, so sorry na lang".
