Suffering

Strangers in the world that's what we are
    New life into a living hope in Christ that's what we have
Urged to live a holy life for we are God’s chosen,
    “Be holy, because I am holy”, behave like God’s obedient children
For like newborn babies who are thirsty,
    Crave for Spiritual milk, that will help our faith grow strong and healthy
Followers of the Lord, living stones built into a spiritual house
    we are group of holy priests, offering sacrifices that pleases God
Enemies of God, we no longer are
    We're chosen & special people telling all the wonderful things He has done
Rulers and masters, to them we should submit
    Christ suffered and left us an example… to this we could commit
Inner beauty, wives... comes from submission
    Husbands, nothing will hinder your prayer for your consideration
Not evil with evil and insult with insult, but with a blessing
    It is written, God will bless us for all our right doing
Give praise to God for we bear that name
    Yes we are Christians, we suffer and we are not ashamed
