I just got home from work, mom's watching TV and suddenly asked me "Pwede ko ba gamitin yung Medicard para ipa-check yung bukol sa dibdib ko?". In a week my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 2B and scheduled for a unilateral mastectomy. My dad couldn't walk home when he got the lab result.
It was hard to see her go through this. I hate the thought of loosing her but who am I to question God why these things happens.
It's been five years since... SHE SURVIVED! Everyday I'll thank God for her life... everyday I'll be inspired of what a strong woman she has become.
